Welcome to our Stage ONE Restoration page. Since we started restoring Yamaha bikes this service has been the most popular service for our customers and is our bread and butter. This is the finest restoration in today's market. The turn around is between two to three months. Restoring your motorcycle with us is the best investment you can ever do to your bike. We believed in high-quality restoration when it comes to the vintage motorcycle. Before restoration, we will inspect your core for safety before tearing it down. If we find anything unsafe or dangerous we will contact you right away. Safety to the future rider and to the public is our number one priority. To the best practice and interest, we suggest a complete none rotten core from customers.

 

 

 

DISASSEMBLE

Our experienced crew will disassemble the bike exterior and interior, all parts of the bike will be touched and laid down for inspection. Disassemble frame, fenders, horn, engines, wheels, rear and front shocks, speedometer, and tachometer, headlight, taillight, turn signals, etc.

 

 

 

 

 

SANDBLASTING

Everything that was painted originally with OEM will get sandblasted. The frame, swingarm, exhaust, toolbox, skid plate, footrest, kickstand, seat pan, foot brake, meter bracket, crown handle, under bracket, gas tank, oil tank, headlight bucket, (2) ears, chain guard, front fender, rear fender, bar tension,and the air box. Primer and sanded will be the tool box, skid plate, footrest, kick stand, toolbox, seat pan, foot brake, meter bracket, crown handle, under bracket, gas tank oil tank, headlight bucket, (2) ears, chain guard, front fender, rear fender, bar tension and air box. Powder coated with gloss black the frame and swing arm.

 

 

 

 

 

 

POWDER COATING and Paint

We provide a high-quality powder coat on the frame and swingarm with high gloss black.


 

 

We match the closest Yamaha black colors to ppg paint
to paint the toolbox, skid plate, footrest, kickstand, toolbox, seat pan, foot brake, meter bracket, crown handle, under bracket, bar tension, and airbox.

 

 

Optional

Powder coat high gloss- tool box, skid plate, footrest, kick stand, toolbox, seat pan, foot brake, meter bracket, crown handle, under bracket, bar tension, air box.

 

We always apply three clear coats for longer protection on the toolbox, skid plate, footrest, kickstand, toolbox, seat pan, foot brake, meter bracket, crown handle, under bracket,  the fuel tank and oil tank, headlight bucket, (2) ears, chain guard, front fender, rear fender, bar tension, and the air box. Fuel tank, oil tank, headlight, ears, both fenders, and the chain guard will be polished.
 

 

Original paint pieces are the fuel tank, headlight shell, oil tank, and fork ears. The front fender, rear fender and chain guard will be painted a shade of gray. ( This is all optional )

 

 

 

POLISHING

We polish all aluminum parts to get the bike into more stand out looks and brighter appealing

from a distance. The engine covers, including the sprocket cover, the front and rear

wheel hubs, two- plates, the two-lower front forks, the forks top bolts, the light switch,

two lever holders and two levers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

SHINNY ZINC PLATING AND REPAIR

The hardware is a very important aspect of a complete restoration.
We want to eliminate sore eyes on the bike by zinc plating all nuts and bolts,
spokes and other accessories for a good look and for rust prevention. We also re-shape
nuts and bolts that are neglected.

CHROME

Some Yamaha bikes parts sometimes need re-chroming, so we apply triple chrome. If necessary, the speedometer/ tachometer housing, kick start, shift lever, handlebar, both rear shock springs, ignition key housing, front fender bracket, both wheels, and both front insert shocks, etc.

 

 

 

 

 

 

VAPOR BLASTING

Everyone should know it by now. We use the latest technology in the
the market today to clean both engine cases, cylinder head, the cylinder itself, petcock, carburetor, both wheel hubs and the plates, anything aluminum on the bike will be vapor blast for ultimate cleaning.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ENGINE

We pay attention to all the details interior and exterior during rebuilding the engine. Top end and bottom end, we inspect all gears, bearings, clips, washers inside the gearbox, anything is worn out or bad will get replaced. Complete engine re-building,
we re-bore the cylinder to oversize if necessary. Also, we apply oversize original piston and piston rings if necessary. Re-shaped exterior cylinder fins and painted with high heat gloss with gasoline resistant ( nos looks ). All gaskets and engine seals are new.


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

REFURBISHED AND REBUILT

The two front shocks are completely rebuilt. We inspect all electrical wires and clean the flywheel and magneto. Refurbish all electrical wires, refurbished tachometer, speedometer, and horn, etc. clean all electrical switches, re-set speedometer to o miles. New ignition point. Note: Zinc plated both innerspring coil on the front fork shocks

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ELECTRICAL

All electrical wires will be tested within specs., any deterioration, neglected wires and switches will be replaced.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

NEW PARTS IF NECESSARY

 

New high quality and nos parts on the bike are Seat dampers, Petcock gasket, Speedometer/tach damper, Fuel tank cap, Seat foam, Seat cover, Cables, Oil tank decal, Headlamp, Grips, Grommets and Black grommets, 2- fuel tank emblem, clutch gasket, Kick start rubber, Shift rubber, Footpegs rubber, Speedometer reset knob, Ignition point, and the NOS headlight ring. Two front shocks dust cover, seals, Head gasket, Cylinder Gasket, Engine seals, clips bearings, Camshaft bearing, and seals

 

New oversize piston and piston rings ( optional )

 

PERFORMANCE

Clean the carburetor, set up the correct gas level. Setup the correct timing on the cylinder head. Install a new point with the correct gap.

Everything is touch and inspected during restoration interior and exterior, this restoration is suitable to collectors and enthusiasts who have a good taste of fine craftsmanship.

 

Stage one restoration.

We sandblast all the painted parts the frame, swingarm, exhaust, toolbox, skid plate, footrest, kickstand, seat pan, foot brake, meter bracket, crown handle, under bracket, gas tank, oil tank, headlight bucket, (2) ears, chain guard, front fender, rear fender, bar tension, air box. Primer and sanded are tool box, skid plate, footrest, kick stand, toolbox, seat pan, foot brake, meter bracket, crown handle, under bracket, gas tank oil tank, headlight bucket, (2) ears, chain guard, front fender, rear fender, bar tension and the air box.

 

Powder coated with a gloss black or high gloss with ppg paint is the frame and swingarm. Painted with Yamaha black are the toolbox, skid plate, footrest, kickstand, toolbox, seat pan, foot brake, meter bracket, crown handle, under bracket, bar tension, air box. New originally paint ( optional ) are the fuel tank, headlight shell, oil tank, and fork ears. The front fender, rear fender and chain guard will be painted a shade of gray.

 

All our stages comes with three clear coats for longer protection, toolbox, skid plate, footrest, kickstand, toolbox, seat pan, foot brake, meter bracket, crown handle, under bracket, gas tank oil tank, headlight bucket, (2) ears, chain guard, front fender, rear fender, bar tension, and the air box.

 

Paint and polished are the fuel tank, oil tank, head light, ears, both fenders and chain guard. As we stated on the restoration set up.

 

 

 We use the latest technology in the market today to clean the exterior gearbox and cylinder head, detail cylinder to OEM specs, the cylinder itself, petcock and carburetor. Complete top end re-building, bored cylinder if it’s not on the model specs, new original piston and piston rings. Re-shape exterior cylinder and painted with high heat gloss with gasoline resistant ( nos looks ). All gaskets and engine seals are new. We also polish wheel hubs and levers and lever holders.

 

We shiny cad zinc plate all nuts and bolts, spokes and other accessories for good looks and rust prevention. Reshaped nuts and bolts  are neglected. New nos or new chain link, complete re-build front shocks and rear shocks. All electrical will be inspected and cleaned flywheel and magneto. Refurbished electrical wires. Clean all electrical switches. New ignition point.

 

Recommended: New high quality and nos parts on the bike are Seat dampers, Fuel tank cap, Seat foam, Seat cover, Cables, Oil tank decal or emblem, Grommets, and Black grommets, clutch gasket, Kick start rubber, Shift rubber, Footpegs rubber, Ignition point, Keystone piston rings, Keystone (optional piston size), 2 front shocks dust cover, seals, Head gasket, Cylinder Gasket, Engine seals, clips bearings, Camshaft bearing and seals.



Rebuilt and clean carburetor, install new air filter and spark plug.  Inspect clutch to ensure all gears shift normal, check the oil injector pump. Re-built horn and front shocks.
